National Junior Olympics: Ski Jumping and Nordic Coming to Lebanon, NH!

Just got this E-mail from the Lebanon Outing Club here in Lebanon, NH:

The Lebanon (NH) Outing Club is proud to annouce it will be co-
hosting the 2006 Junior Olympics for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined
for the United States Skiing Association from February 28 to March 4.

Their ski jumps are awesome. I've never seen ski jumping but it sure looks like an awesome sport to watch. The LOC has quite a set-up for it!

Ski jumping is a blast to watch. At Lake Placid they have an observation deck right at the take off of the 90 meter. They pratice all summer and put on quite a show. When I go up to the start house and look down I wonder how you get the nuts to do it the first time.
