Nice little storm. Picked up a solid 5-6 inches, even blanket, no wind. Went out on the Alpinas this morning and the snow was really nice for the intermediate runs. Went up lift line to Tally-ho and skied GS and it was really nice. Back up to the top and did 2 laps on the top half of Downhil and ran the second out to the base area. Went up lybrand Ext. and did a quick 10 turn lap on the bottom pitch there....Great snow on a frogiving, very edgeable base....primed for more with lines opening up thru the berry bushes and milkweed....

Trees are close.....

The concrete footing for the double is still up top...painted pind and covered in graffiti from the college kids. A concrete block building in the flat meadow at the top of coffee run, and the base area buildings which are all in nice shape, but bricked up. A bunch of DH bike trails with a few descent hucks you can hit on your skis. Thats about it. The glades are still kept up.

Too bad they don't reopen it...I think there was some talk of doing so recently....but it is a decent sized area and a nice resource for the College.
