And, not only will it shrug off light to moderate precipitation, but the protective membrane remains breathable for your comfort. After all, there's not much sense in sealing out the elements if it means that you're soaking in a miniature steam room anyway.
The cut of the Elite jacket is designed around Pearl's 'Semi-Form Fit.' In translation, this means that the upper-torso and upper-sleeves have an anatomic cut, which enable the jacket to move with your body, rather than bunching. Towards the bottom of the torso and sleeves, the fit relaxes, giving you some extra room for a comfortable range of motion. There's two pockets, one at the chest and one at the small of the back, and both are zippered. They'll go a long way to ensuring that the contents of your pockets are there for your whole ride. And to increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions, there are reflective panels placed throughout.
