CARRABASSETT VALLEY, ME (March 29, 2012)-With access to three of New England's premier resorts, the New England Pass is the season pass of choice for Eastern skiers and riders. Now there's another reason to switch to a New England Pass: When you purchase a 2012-2013 New England Pass in full, you can use it to ski for the rest of this season.
Despite last week's record heat, Sugarloaf , Sunday River , and Loon Mountain continued with snowmaking operations this week in order to extend their seasons well into April. The three resorts currently have more open terrain than all other New England ski areas combined, and anyone who purchases any 2012-2013 season pass in full can access all of it for the rest of this season.
With prices starting at $379, the New England Pass provides access to a combined total of 346 trails, 2,168 acres, 14 terrain parks, and 6 halfpipes during peak season, all served by 42 lifts.
Each New England Pass also includes free or discounted skiing/riding at Boyne Resorts' Western mountains, including Big Sky, MT; Brighton, UT; Crystal Mountain, WA; Cypress Mountain, British Columbia; Boyne Mountain, MI; Boyne Highlands, MI; and The Summit at Snoqualmie, WA.
The three levels of the New England Pass available for purchase include:
The Bronze New England Pass, available for $379, is an all-ages season pass that includes midweek, non-holiday access to all three resorts.
The Silver New England Pass, available for $645 for adults (ages 19-64), offers access every day of the season excluding 13 black-out dates.
The Gold New England Pass, available for $969 for adults (ages 19-64), offers unrestricted access to all three resorts for the 2012/2013 season.
Senior (65 and older), teen (ages 13-18 ), and junior (ages 6-12) versions of the Gold and Silver pass are also available for purchase. Gold passes are also available for children 5 and under and seniors 80 years and older.
The College New England Pass is available for $359 for full-time college students and includes unlimited skiing/riding at all three resorts for the 2012-2013 season and is on sale at this low price until November 30, 2012.
For skiers and riders who will be post graduates next fall and purchased a 2011-2012 College New England Pass for this season, next year's Graduate New England Pass is available for $645 and also includes unlimited skiing and riding at all three resorts. Deadline to purchase the Graduate New England Pass at this low rate is April 30, 2012.
