Date(s) Hiked: 10/14/06
Trails(s) Hiked: Hancock Notch - Cedar Brook - Hancock Loop
Total Distance: 9.8 mi
Difficulty: Easy until the final ascent which is very steep (S Hancock has poor footing)
Conditions: Lovely!
Special Required Equipment: Boots. Stream crossings are abundant.
Trip Report:
This is hike #2 for the Saturday "Marathon"
This was a particularly exciting hike becasue I ran into someone who had seen my victory thumbs up page as a result of reading this forum (if you are reading: Hello!). That made my day BTW. Sadly I could not talk to the lady or her friends long becasue I did not have tons of time Anyways. Good hike overall but views were a tad lacking.

PS. I love old railgrades.
