Beartooth Pass (Wyoming/Montana) had slush cleared off this morning or yesterday, according to Facebook. Higher elevations in Montana and Wyoming have also seen snow, though I don't know if anywhere got as much as that Winter Park image.

1st snow gun of the year spotted in place on the Granby Ranch Co web cam. Targeting a Thanksgiving opening again this year. Another sign the season is on its way.

A ways out but heard that a “Polar vortex” May settle in near the end of October with precipitation involved. But too far out to get excited.

Nothing on the long range models as far as sustainable below normal temps, but that’s fine, it’s early October. Let it be above normal now and turn in November.
