How the hell is this still going? I thought we were getting a storm over the weekend?

Snow here in Maine. Snowing at Burke as well!

US Ski and Snowboardinf just announced that due to the warmth and lack of snow thus far out in Utah, that they're moving the Freestyle Event that Deer Valley annually hosts to the East Coast, with Lake Placid Which already had 1 World Cup Aerials Event, now getting a 2nd) and the Moguls/Dual Moguls will now be hosted by Waterville Valley, which hosted a WC mguls event last year. Both of these are slated for Mid January

BG. Gotta laugh and show you just how out of wack the world is right now. Number 1 , The Pocono’s yes the Pocono’s are about to get slammed with snow. And this time there is some man made base down. Skied Blue today with son whoi is home from Colorado who said the skiing was better here right now. IMG_5560.jpeg

Truly proof anything can happen.

Snow at Brighton FWIW

Not really. Storm came in too warm. Maybe some snow at 10,000 feet, but nothing much. Currently 50 here.

I imagine if we dont get a decent bit of snow, and quickly, this year will surpass that year in the mid-70s for "worst in X" years, but I know as of last week it was the worst it's been going back 50 years.

I think parts of western Canada are doing better at least. 150” or so for the season at Fernie.
few different sources: https://www.snow-online.com/snow-report/ski-resort/squaw-valley.html

Jay has twice this amount but its a good start: https://www.skiheavenly.com/the-mountain/mountain-conditions/snow-and-weather-report.aspx

Good grief. Is there anywhere west of the Mississippi with normal snow levels?

Arizona Snowbowl is slightly above normal. Otherwise, you have to go north of the border to AB or interior BC.

If you want good snow + good western terrain, I'd recommend Whistler. They've really been getting hammered.

I saw a message put out on Facebook asking locals to have a meal out at a local restaurant this week even if they had no plans to do so.

I thought it was a good idea & went to Fuego tonight. It was snowing when we left the restaurant, praying it continues. Might go to Collies or Billie Blanco's tomorrow night.
