Groomer morning for me at Snowbird today. I racked up over 20k vertical between 9 and 12 noon. They were making snow in multiple spots. Groomers held up well but got chewed up after 90 minutes or so. That said, I was able to move around and find good groomed conditions.

Took the little one for a few McConkey's runs after school today & was very surprised how good the snow was, which really makes no sense to me at all.

The snow is drying out as opposed to freezing up.
Skied all over s bird yesterday..no ice anywhere..
At least you can get off the groomers...
Today might be different..high of 11..chill of 3.
Im going to s basin..much warmer there.

Sitting in Stratton. Not skiing today. Hit hot tub this morning and headed out shopping today (need new set of poles). Thinking of hitting Black Line Tavern this afternoon. Will give it a go tomorrow then stay up tomorrow for hopefully some nice snow Monday

Today broke my recent, previous, "emptiest winter Saturday I've ever seen" at Park City. I mean EMPTY.

Ski on at every lift to maybe a 1.5 minute wait at most.

There were plenty of runs where we were literally the only people on the trail. No waiting for a table at Red Pine Lodge at lunch, plenty of open seating. Again, on a Saturday. I think Vail's going to get their ass handed to them next quarter worse than they're letting on.

All the people going to Wildcat will make up for it.
