Brundage today. About 2 feet in the last 72 hours. All sun, no wind. Off-piste skiing deep

way to score! i am so relieved the west is finally turning on.

looks like about 6-12 will fall while i am in banff next week, with more falling at revelstoke, and then even more at revelstoke the following week.

i fly out sunday. time is molasses.

12. 2/12 Loon. Sneaker pow day with a few inches overnight after the evening groom. Haven't seen Loon's glades this good in quite a while. Triple trouble was super nice too. Hit Timbertown for the first time, what a great beginner pod (and luxury homeowner access too). Just needs a lodge and progression learning trail with progression carpets and it would be perfect. But I believe everything South Peak will be built in conjunction with South Peak Resort (think similar to the Killington village).

1) Park City (Canyons) - 1/02 holy hell it's terrible, but kid's clinics start this weekend & wanted to get the little a day on snow prior
2) Park City (Canyons) - 1/03 the first legitimate east coast conditions I've experienced in Utah. Brought back memories
3) Park City (Canyons) - 1/09 took 4 after school runs with the wife & little one on blue groomers. Conditions better after the recent snow, still not great.
4) Park City (Canyons) - 1/10 bizarrely empty! Conditions much improved. Powder in the trees. Lord, it feels like ski season finally.
5) Park City (Park City) - 1/17 MLK Friday & empty! Icy moguls, steep groomers icy, groomed beginner & intermediate terrain was okay.
6) Park City (Park City) - 1/23 Took the little one up McConkey's for the first time for some Georgeanna & Powder Monkey fun. Snow's good (not sure how).
7) Park City (Canyons) - 1/24 Empty. Even more bizarrely so than MLK weekend. Literally the only person on multiple trails. Ski on all day. On SATURDAY!
8) Park City (Canyons) - 1/31 Empty. Another empty Saturday of ski-on lifts. Groomer only. Decent considering no snow. Anything steep is east coast though.
9) Park City (Canyons) - 2/07 Empty. Another empty Saturday of ski-on lift. Groomer only. Decent considering no snow. Furrys. Lots of Furrys.
10) Park City (Canyons)- 2/13 After school Saddleback laps with the wife & little one. Six inches fell, but sadly I felt no difference. We need MUCH more.

Nice day at Sugarloaf. Cold but light wind. Just about everything was skiable minus the snowfields. The woods were very thin though. Wind damage and overcutting is really starting to take its toll in Brackett Basin. Really miss the days of tight trees on the old Can’t Dog Glade and the G’s pre-Brackett. Trail of the day was Bubblecuffer with a ton of windblown snow from Gondi.

Another cold but clear day. Everything was open. Mainly skied the glades and trails rarely open including the new version of Undercut. First time on Timbertown. Definitely a great beginner pod but no need for me to ski it more than once.

22. Feb. 12, 2026 Jay Peak

Impromptu trip to Jay Peak with the storm coming. Two incredible days. They picked up 6” of dense snow Tuesday night and 8-10” of dry fluffy snow Wednesday night. The snow in the woods is very deep in spots. To the the point you had to duck to avoid the now low clearance branches!

23. Feb. 13, 2026 Stratton
From Jay I met my girlfriend down in Southern VT for our annual get together with her family for the Brattleboro Ski Jump weekend. Her cousin was able to also get the day off so the three of us went to Stratton. My first visit there. Really enjoyed it. The snow was great on just about everything.

Those pics from Jay are amazing!

I'm at 28 days. This guy Angel is from Puerto Rico. I told him as Snowbird tram operator he has one of the iconic jobs in the ski world. He gave me a hug:)

13. 2/14 BMOM. Awesome day, light crowd but almost everything in play. All the glades still really good, untracked powder lines remained, especially East Bowl. Wife's first day here, she really enjoyed it. Even hiked to the top with me for a nice run down Saco.

14. 2/15 Mt. Abram. Fun day, love the terrain but the Wayback machine decided to throw a fit to start. So total throwback day off just the Maine T-Bar. Got 2 rides on Wayback once it got "fixed" before it "unfixed" itself. Guess the e-brake was acting up and thankfully for them, Lost Valley had the spare part they needed on hand. Should be good to go tomorrow. Good snow and fun conditions, though their woods being a bit steeper than BMOM could use a nice dense snowfall to pack in.
