Sadly I think the next 10 days, as I mentioned before is a near Winter Killer given the snowpack is already basically the worst ever.

It's going to hit 60 at the base of Park City today. There'll be high elevation skiing, but will it really be any good after maybe 2 weeks from now? The corn harvesting will come early. Saturday was fun though, lots of untouched snow in the trees.

I have until March 14th to cancel my place in Snowbird for a full refund. Delta tickets I can easily repurpose. So probably need to revisit at the end of the week to see if there is a pattern shift on the horizon. As of now looks bone dry for the next 15 days and I’m not even looking at temps.

Yeah, I saw one forecast calling for maybe temps starting with an "8X" next week in SLC. WTAF?!

How do you think Snowbird and Alta hold up until April 20ish? Just looked at the forecast and looks dry and warm for at least the next two weeks.
Let me put it this way, whatever shape those two are in on April 20th, it's probably better than almost anywhere else in the US at that time.
9 Mar 2026, Snowbird, skied real good today!

I am doing the 'Bird tomorrow before heading back east. I had held the day to potentially do a Deer Valley day (as my pass has two), but Little Cloud is calling my name. Additionally, I pretty much took out a mortgage to ski at Alta AND Snowbird as opposed to two meh days at DV.
Good call. We ran out of days at Alta/Bird our last day in Utah and decided to hit Deer Valley Saturday. 'Considerably' less snow.

Driving back home i70 thru Denver today and the hills did not look great. LCC and BCC are the golden ticket.

Brighton was pretty busy yesterday...looked like someone hit a tree on Milly..but he looked alive.
Going to get the mid week pass fir 600 bucks as I think I found my tree skiing spot.
Milly was in very good shape..but the bowl remains closed after 2 weeks of bombing..

Top of Ajax skied great yesterday. Top 2/3 of the mountain staying pretty good with considerable softening and some melting as one gets down into town. Off day today after 5 in a row. Trip up to Glenwood to Iron Mountain Hot SpringsIMG_5906.jpeg

Alta and Snowbird were nice today. N and NE aspects up high were still soft. The temps and sun softened things up in Mineral Basin and up the mountain to the base of Little Cloud yesterday, but temps and the wind prevented the snow from softening at all today. I had a great time.
