Looks like the wilderness peak chair (Exhibition chair) has been down for maintenance for about a week now. My kids love lapping that chair. Any insiders know when the ETA for repairs are?

Strange as I rode it a few times on Sunday...
I saw they evacuated it Jan 19, and their website had listed it as being under maintenance. Sounds it’s already been fixed but I swear I saw their note still online yesterday. Thanks for the heads up!

First time I’ve been here in the heart of the season. Trees are good. (Backsides of the bumps otherwise, not so much)

Rumor is Bousquet is getting dropped from Summit Pass, which is a downer. I’ve really come to enjoy a half day there when passing through to Charlemont. Also proved a lifesaver a couple vacations when BEast lost power for a couple days. Saved the trip.

Bousquest also has the best magic carpet area of the three and is ther spot where all my kids got their first taste of independence being able to just lap that little lift on their own while parents were making trips to the car or something. Big deal when you’re three / four.

Bousquet also has some sneaky good woods and great night skiing vibes. Short but sweet. I’ll miss going there a couple times per season.

That is a bummer. Finally managed to ski Louise’s Folly this year, wonderful old school trail, but Icicles always closed. Wonder if they will stay on Indy ?

The rumor is true, Bousquet has been dropped from the Summit Pass, which has been renamed the “Aim High” Pass, an acronym for “Authentic Independent Mountains”. Another bummer is that next year, the unlimited midweek benefit at Burke will be reduced from all season to only March/April.

“Additional mountain access and partner benefits will be revealed later this summer” - maybe 2 days at Smuggs to match the 2 days at Burke ?

Early bird price $599, a $20 increase from last year

That's enough to sign me up. I haven't been to smuggs in 20 years, I don't think it changed since then.

That’s a good deal. They still have the line about more partner mountains over the summer. Would be cool to get even more perks in the Northeast.
