According to USA Today, the Afghan tourist industry is trying to make a go of it.

Really? I mean, I wish them all the luck, since they've suffered enough in that corner of the world, but, still, I just don't see it.

Something tells me Killington's new owners will have better luck this year (maybe).

Afganistan has some rocking mountains. There is some serious potential for BC stuff. The only problem is that the mountaineering hazards are the least of your worries: Fancy a ski holiday in Afganistan?

Afganistan remains a waste of space in the wonderful world we live in... I commend the troops being over there in the 120 degree heat tracking down the piece of shit taliban, but I'd rather spend time in North Korea where there are making some effort for peace.
