Bummer, that makes for a rather crappy summer camp experience... But kinda cool at the same time.

Some of my favorite memories as a kid were at boyscout camp. Camp Resolute in Bolton, Mass.

That's the camp site I'm looking into reserving this winter for a scout winter camping/skiing trip...do you know anything about how the cabins are there?

My son goes to Camp Wah-tut-ca in Northwood, NH for summer camp...a few years ago he went the week after a microburst knocked over a bunch of trees and destroyed the camp store, and the latest storms were right nearby. Scary stuff.

PM me. Depends on what you are used to for amenities....rustic is the word for Mount Norris, which can be good or bad depending on what you want.
