Does anyone where a cup while skiing or bike riding?

I never bothered, even playing contact sports. Went Cherokee playing Lacrosse, Football and Baseball. Just find them completely uncomfortable.

Then again, I've never been in a ski off; so I might want to consider one there. ;)

At all times. In baseball I was a catcher, In lacrosse I was a d-man expected to step in front of shots. In Hockey, lets just say sticks and pucks always found the groin.

Was a midfielder in Lax, but played Long Stick on man down situations. I know full and well about standing in front of shots. I took a rocket to my right thigh one game. The worst bruise you've ever seen, so bad that it made the hair on my thigh fall out. I shit you not, I have a bald spot six inches in diameter square in the middle of my thigh. I cringe at what it could've done to the jewels.

Pretty stupid, but even after that I still didn't wear one. Maybe they make cups more comfortable nowadays, but fifteen years ago they sucked. I hated wearing pads all together, slowed me down. I don't believe the shoulder pads I wore back in the day are even allowed in today's game.

but wait a minute, by all times, do you mean while skiing?

No, but at times it sure would have helped me. I have taken a few too many shots while skiing tight tree lines.

My junior year of HS our hockey team made states. Kid on the other team had the hardest slap shot I had ever seen. Took it straight to the cup, and even with it, I was in tears. No desire to find out what it would have been like without. I didnt care how uncomfortable it was, I wore it.

Wore a cup maybe 50% of the time playing lax. I swear, the only times I needed it was when I was wearing it.

I've thought about getting one if I start doing rails. Figure it could come in handy there.

I was a catcher during little league + Babe Ruth B-ball - no brainer wearing one then. Same thing playing hockey, especially in the college beer league games I played in.

Never took a real dead on shot to the boys in either of those sporting events while wearing one. The only sporting time I really wish I was wearing one was training slalom during my senior year of high school. Got thrown into the backseat in a rutted course and strattled a gate BEFORE I could get a hand over to block  That was NOT a good night of training!

It's mandatory for martial arts...and for good reason. The club I'm in is "non-contact" but accidents do happen.

I've taken a kick that jostled the boys pretty good even with the cup on.
