I got about a foot total but shoveled at about 6" yesterday and then shoveled the last 6" last night around 8:00 when it stopped snowing.

We got 16-18-ish, I'd say, did most of the digging out last night...

Root, has Summit always sucked this much at snow removal? I crossed the town line into B. Heights this morning and it was like night and day...Went from soon-to-be-ice plowed hard pack to "oh hai der black pavement." Side roads seemed to be almost untouched in spots, and the sidewalks around city property were a mess. Also, some of my neighbors suck a$$...SHOVEL YOUR SIDEWALKS, SLACKERS!

It's actually pretty light, powdery snow here in NW NJ. Made for fun skiing yesterday. Not fun sliding off the road and hitting a stone wall on the way home, though. :(

Yeah. My street usually has hardpack for days after a storm. Summit is really cheap with cleanup for some reason. They don't even have a leaf vac. Interestingly enough, sanitation is out working today clearing fire hydrants.

Used the snowblower last night, not really because the 2" or so would have been tough to shovel(the wind actually took care of it over about 50% of my driveway), but more so to make sure that the snowblower would still start after a lengthy lay off since its last use  :smash:  :smash:
