I think Stratton is up to $82. Definitely hit Magic at least 2 of the 3 days. You may even decide to stay there for all 3. IIRC a 3 day pass is under $150.

I'm hearing that the ntural snow is still skiing very well.

My plans have been altered already and Stratton is out of the equation so theres a good chance with the good snow that I'm at Magic for the weekend. Hope to meet some AZ er's. With the predicted sun and temps I'll most likely be wearing a yellow Columbia jacket, Red Atomic Metron 9 skis and a black helmut with a small CBK sticker on one rear side. Also want to score a Save Magic T-shirt.

Hopefully this will solidify your decision

Something has been in the air the last 3 weeks at Magic, here is a little view into our world, enjoy Four Feet of Magic for some powder, fun and that little riual we do with the flaming torches.

Thanks Guy as always!

OG:

Good to hear from you again, its been a while. Maybe we get to meet this weekend and put the face with the name. My son and I have always been a great fans of Chairlifts.Org and I told you we would visit this season and help you with your "Save Magic" endeavor.

Hey Alex,

I can't make it up this weekend but look for Rusty Groomer in the bar. He wears that bright yellow jacket in the movies or just ask lisa tha bartender and she will introduce you. He is the keeper of the shirts!

I'm sold. Revised plan is two days at Magic for me, one day at Magic and one day at the Manchester Outlets for my wife.

Hopefully I can pick you out (from your pic) and your welcome to ski with us if your solo Sunday. Don't know the stashes but certainly up to trying to find them.

My son is 13 and my host's son is 16 and I'm sure they will be ripping around the mountain. I don't know if he'll want to ski with the old man though. He races but likes to be a Park Rat sometimes too, but this weekend may be different for him because I didn't bring his twin tips home and I'm not sure Magic even has a park. I think this is great as it will get him to focus on bumps and trees which is something that has been suggested for racers of his age. He'll be game for anything on the mountain.

Heading to Magic tomorrow with my youngest and my nephew. I hope its a good day since we have to make our decision if we are buying a season pass for the family there next year.
I think it's gonna be good.

I would highly reccomend buying passes for Magic. On price alone its very hard to beat the value not to mention that its a great mountain with great people and the vibe is fantastic.

I'm heaing out in a few minutes. Today and tmorrow shoudl be awesome.

Jr Magic

Looked for you today but couldn't pick you out and only got your PM this morning or I would have called you last night. Great day at Magic. What a gem. Saw Ta&Idaho and his lovely wife, Rusty Groomer and Matt and scored a Save Magic T-shirt. Talisman was my favorite run of the day. Magic again or Stratton tomorrow will decide at dinner tonight.

Great day at Magic today, after hitting Stratton on Saturday this was the perfect way to finish off the weekend with a friendly vibe, blue skies, great conditions and great people. Truly a special place that needs to be on everyone's to do list if you have not been there yet!
