The forecast for next weekend into southern Vermont. Between the rain last night and the next couple of days and those super warm temps...what do you think the 10-11th is going to be like?? We're going to definitely be up there this weekend to enjoy the warm sunny weather...could end up being in the 30's the weekend after! Thoughts?

Should be fun this week/weekend.

After that....I plan on skiing 15-16. Check, hope I plan to ski on 15-16.

The rain certainly won't help. However, Mount Snow still has a lot of snow! I'm sure they'll still be some great skiing on the trails that they made snow on. The natural trails will probably be shut...but there are plenty of others that will be open. Plus, Glade-iator comp on Ripcord AND Winter Brewfest: both on Saturday. Woo!

I'll be up at Magic with my tee-shirt and sun glasses at the ready. SVT areas all had enough snow to make this coming weekend good. The only thing I am worried about are the base areas.

Sunday River was super spring skiing on Thursday. 3 days later, yesterday, was complete bulletproof with large exposed sheets of ice all over the place. They officially had 120 trails open but the woods are looking sad.

This morning I was prepared to check out Wildcat. A couple of friends scouted it out and called me from the parking lot. They said the Cat got snow last night but it had already switched to rain. They are passholders and said Wildcat has more snow than SR right now.

Wildcat has the most snow I've seen recently. Skiing there Friday for sure. Maybe Thu-Fri depending how this rain impacts MRG.

Will be interesting, for sure... Would like to get out at least one more time before the season is up now that my confidence is back. Not sure how realistic that is, though.
