Wa Wa Bronze Pass

Considering picking up a WA WA bronze pass in addition to the Gunstock pass for some night skiing and a few mid week days. Is 239 worth it considering realistically I may get out once or twice every 2 weeks? Anyone else do this? I am 40 minutes from the MT.

Well I do, but I ski every Thursday and head up a few times with the kids. I get silver so I can get the early and late season weekends in. Saturdays midseason are a nightmare.

PM Sky and he can give you his GPS club info, it will save you another $20 on the pass.

Yes, be sure to check with Sky. He is the guy for Wachusett.

Other than that, calculate how many times it will take to break even and if you ski at least that many times if not more than go for it. It is nice to have some flexibility, but also not great if you want to go to multiple areas outside of your pass because you will feel tied down to your mountain(s).

Oh how I miss my law school years where I had two passes and was in the dilemma of which mountain to ski! I was lucky enough to be able to have my passes cover the areas where I wanted to be. If you want to be at Wachusett, and will be able to go at least the handful of times you need to break even, go for it.

I had Sky help me out with getting a Bronze pass a few seasons ago. Worked out well.

my 2 cents - if you are on the fence, get it.. having a pass to a local hill less than an hour away is a great motivator for those days (or nights) when you aren't sure you want to ski.

FYI, the WA pass gives some pretty good discounts at other mtns. Particularly 50% off at Jay and Alta.

Last I looked...the break-even point is 6 trips. But I haven't done that math lately.

ALSO...it's definitely rue tha "wiht" a pass...you'll be more likely to head out and rip it up fpr 2-hrs or so when otherwise you'd never consider dropping $ to ski for only 2 hrs.

I live 45 min from Wa and the occasional mid-week AM romp is....invigorating.

That is correct Sky, it was to my knee cap, although it is has healed. I am looking forward to a great season ahead!

Sure thing. SIlver Pass is a good deal, especially if you get there when they open on the weekends. You can rip it up for a few hours and leave if it gets crowded...and you feel like you skied for free.

You probably paid the same price as you would in the group...but with the group, you get to delay the purchase till mid Nov and still get that lowest price.
