Jay may be okay after all. Moving through Burlington now and its freezing train and 35 degreed, but that means the mountain should be snow. For more anyway.

Back to reality for me, Greek Peak. I didn't ski today, but when I stepped outside, I kind of wish I had. It was 55 degrees today, partly cloudy, very windy though. It is supposed to be 29 tomorrow with snow showers.

You should have gone to Jay. I skied there this morning before the long drive home. Very sweet conditions, with a nice velvety layer over the groomers for first tracks and some nice windblown in the woods. It was super windy overnight but was reasonably calm by morning.

Meanwhile, while most of you seemed to be enjoying wintery conditions, full fledged spring paid a visit to the Pocono Mountains on Saturday. The rain (not as much as expected) was gone before we left the house. The fog lifted for opening at 8:30 and the sun broke out by 10:30. Creamy groomers and soft bumps on Asp were the order of the day. Mountain Dew Challange and drinks on the deck were a whole lot of fun. One of those festive top 10 spring days. Topped it off with the Ski Team Banquet at Peppi's in East Stroudsburg and the follow up party at a friends house up in Camelback Village where the "shot ski" made an appearence and was put to good use. Needless to say planned skiing on Sunday did not come about this weekend. One of the funnest days of the season.

I was at Stowe today. Great conditions but visibility wasn't all that hot as it was snowing all day. First time up there and it was all that I hoped for. Fantastic mountain.

I really need to think about picking up a pair of wider skis. My Progressor 9+ are great until there's snow piling up or crud, then they're a lot more work.
