Mount Snow's is $249 - good from March 1st on. They've got events on the calender through 4/6, and baring a major blast furnace meltdown like happened last March, if they've got the business, they've got PLENTY of snow to go past that

Thank you Scotty. Looks like a good deal for me this spring. Whats Pico's projected closing date?

It is a good deal, someone put it in the skiing on cheap thread and gave me idea for this thread. I don't know when they close Pico.

Mount Snow won't go much past the first week of April regardless of how much snow there is. When the crowds thin to a certain point, they make the (probably wise) decision to shut down for the year, snow or no snow.

I might buy that pass, but it not on their website yet. Did they tell you about it in a season pass email? Does it come with other benefits like friends lift tickets deals?

Signs were up in the base lodges starting last Sunday. They call it their "Vernal Eternal" pass. I'm sure they'll get the details up on the website in the next few days. The marketing dept has been very busy this week running a slew of events during Pres Week

From having talked to some VERY reliable sources, the last event on their events calender, the Gladiator and "Winter" Brewer's Fest on Sunday April 6th ISN'T a hard closing date. If they've got the snow and the business, and with how much snow in particular is over in Carinthia right now, the parks (and all the day ticket traffic they usually generate) will be open, as will be their typical spring lift pattern (run the Bluebird and Nitro Quad, *maybe* a Northface lift) and then ski whatever is open on the main face and Carinthia, with ticket sales and bathrooms only at the Carinthia lodge, and ticket and food and beverage sales at the main base lodge.

My 100% GUESS is that (weather permitting of course) they'll go daily operations through Sunday April 13th and then a couple of weekend only operations after that. They were making base building, not resurfacing snow last weekend on some main trails that already have substantial bases. I took that as a very good sign for some skiing (weather + business volume permitting) well into April this season

I'm no optimistic many places will operate beyond April 6th due to how early easter falls this year. For whatever reason easter no matter what date it falls on triggers in people's minds that winter is finished.
