How many bras are required before the tree is deemed a "Bra Tree"

I hit up a few mountains the past couple of weeks and some had solid, unbeatable bra trees, (Heavens Gate at Sugarbush & Sugarloaf) while others (Stratton) had a sissy looking bra tree. Probably because they're super PC there and the ops crew is told to remove them.

Anyway, my question to you guys is- in your opinion, how many bras are needed to designate a tree a bra tree?

Finally an original thread! Smuggs has a great one. I don't think it's an exact number but I think you have to have a decent amount of variety: cup sizes, color, used, new, etc. And it should cover the whole tree.

Gotta have more bra's than beads hanging from the branches in my book! I do give some latitude and don't make my final judgement until March or so when they tend to fill up!

Mount Snow has 2 that are usually "healthy" (one about 1/2 way up the Challenger Triple on the Northface and one about 2/3rds of the way up Nitro Quad at Carinthia, and then occasionally one tries to get going about 1/3rd of the way up Canyon quad. I will say that Mount Snow did some significant branch triming back (and it was needed IMHO) around many lifts this past summer, so who knows how the trees will "grow" this season?? They have some "sparse" growth though already :)

Haven't been on this board for that long, but this is one weird thread.

You need enough bras to field two lingerie football teams. That's 14 bras, for those of you uneducated in the finer things of life.

Crotched has a great one near the Rocket and a second forming closer to the top terminal. My gf has named the lower one the "Itty Bitty T--ty Committee Tree" as it doesn't hold a bra larger than a B cup by the looks of it.

That doesnt count then in my mind. You need larger cups too!

You see a lot of those trees at ski areas which have a good high school race program.

Has anyone actually been on a chair with a donating female?

After introducing the GF to skiing last year one of our times out she brought an old one with us just to throw in. Those things are like $40 a piece, I can't imagine a girl tossing a new sports bra she just took off in the cold onto a tree.

Agreed, but I bet each solid mogul trail skied without a bra takes off about a year of perkiness. I'm sure there is an algorithm for it out there. If not, AZ should apply for research grants.

As my wife reminds me a few times a year as we're riding by a bra tree, the reality is that very few if any of the bra's you see on a tree are removed on the lift or were even being worn that day, since for most women, even with some moderate endowment, the thought of skiing or riding in anything but a sports bra isn't a comfortable thought, and you rarely see a sports bra on a bra tree. As for the cost factor, as she also points out to me, most of the one's on a bra tree are bit bit worn and tattered, and not just from being out in the elements. Chances are they're just old ones that were going to be discarded or cheap one's that someone picked up at a goodwill store. She ruins my male fanatasies about bra tree contributions every time she tells me that ;)

Well I wouldn't want them to ski bumps all day but if it's spring and they are in a tshirt....a few runs couldn't hurt...Not me anyways.
