Wow, still lots of snow up there. How long of a hike was it to the top?

Well it takes anywhere from 1-1 1/2 to get to hermit lake than 1/2hr to the bottom of the bowl. Then it matters which route you take from there but any where from 30min to and hour to get to the top of the bowl.

So the the hike is a good 2.5 to 3 hours, that is no joke.
