18" reported. But they still plan to only have two runs tomorrow so probably not worth it for me.

Can't get to Belle again until Sunday.

I'm going to be using my new boots and footbeds, they always feel great in the shop. Hoping they feel as good when I actually ski. Same boots as my old ones, Dalbello Panterra 120's. Got lucky and scored a pair in my size from last year, no longer in production now. The Panterra was made to fit my foot, glad I motivated and got a pair from last year before they are gone for good.

Must be a staffing issue.

We skied Bell early Dec. in the middle of covid, and there was a similar storm and they opened 3-4 more trails, and looked the other way on poaching all weekend.

Per facebook, sounds like it was a bit of a shit show today.

I was pushing hard to make the drive - I guess I'm glad we didn't go.

Eyeing up Black friday though.

Heading there tomorrow. Getting there before 8:30, hope that's early enough.

Assuming it will be crowded.

I remember that storm and poached a bunch. The difference then was that they did have a few more trails open including Deer Run t2b from snowmaking and the gondola was open.

Right now only Tomahawk lift is open, Route 9 is blocked off. Not sure poaching will be worth the effort.

I called off this weekend as it was sold out both days. First snow and no one else open in the catskills.

Curiosity what determines sold out? Terrain open, parking, or just an arbitrary number? There's not that much parking at lift 8 and I think it was mentioned no shuttles. If this is the metric it shouldn't be too crowded. Relatively speaking of course.
