Report I got from a friend was it's not worth the drive (2 1/2ish hours for me), and bring rock skis if you go. But, there's also some good long stretches of plenty good skiing with good coverage. I'm on the fence as well. Lost Princess was worth the price of admission alone last week. Expect some grass sliding on that one.
LP was getting adventure-y today, tomorrow will absolutely involve non-frozen surfaces on that one. Excalibur and Lollapalooza I expect they'll be able to work back to solid even with non-rock skis for tomorrow morning; Boots On may remain interesting. Kansas, well, it skied better than it looked; I'm not sure how much repair work they be able to do with that one, as there's not a lot of snow left to farm near the thin patch.

If you've got rock skis, it's probably the best skiing you'll find with that 2.5-hour drive. I'd guess that the Loaf probably has a bit more coverage on the upper mountain, but people who go there usually aren't too concerned with drive time ;)

So apparently Shipyard is out of White Cap completely next winter. Will be interesting to see what the mountain does with the lodge for next season. I will miss the shipyard pub downstairs but Shipyard running the entire lodge has been a bit of a fumble the past few (what base lodge doesn't allow guests to bring in their own F&B? Well, WC did just that). The space definitely needs to be renovated but the mountain has a chance to make it an attractive lodge with an inside bag storage/changing room space there too. Will be interesting to see just what they do there.

I have been starting the day at south ridge since white cap is basically a worthless lodge to me as it now functions. Looking foreword to see what happens there.

SR has U14 Easterns next year, trying to figure where they run SG? T2 to MM with crossing guards at cascades?
T2 to MM is what SR has officially homolgated for SG at this time on the master FIS list of homolgated trails. Guesing that Cascades gets fully roped off and closed on race/training days/times for safety reasons obviously

Most likely correct. Grand Junction is a fairly reasonably crossing point with appreciate crowd control fencing and attentive staff, unlike the challenge Over Easy used to be.

T2 to Cascades is also homologated for downhill, and you can run a slower event using a faster event's homologation, with some caveats. That said, I'd be shocked to see anything on Cascades, as T2/MM is much easier to close and is generally maintained as a race venue.

I remember running SG on Right Stuff back in the day.
IMO, that was a much better option as terrain goes, but some of it is too narrow by modern standards, and because of the terrain you can't just cut trees to get more width--you'd also need to move a lot of dirt.

Before that we ran on Obsession, which is great if you make good turns on your left foot but a serious PITA logistically (two lift rides to get there and the wind exposure at the top definitely isn't U14-friendly).

At this point, neither of those have current homologation.
