Bromley. Firm and fast. Unfortunately none of the golden triangle resurface like Mt Snow does.

Just drove through a fairly decent snow band from Greenfield, MA all the way up to my condo at Mount Snow. Probably closing in on 2" so far. Winds are howling, and it almost looks like there's night skiing at Mount Snow tonight with all of the fan guns they have running. My son, who was out coaching the U14 race athletes today, said the surface was anywhere from "racer firm" to some nice, dry man made snow depending on where on the hill he was and the relation to the wind angle

1-2” of dust on crust but I’ve certainly skied much much worse snow
Oddly enough I think Mount Snow skied better yesterday than today with the extra 3 inches. The fresh snowmaking was nice, not so much after they groomed it out.

golden T rumorville- So I heard that Strattons top 2 snowmakers moved onto bromley last offseason. And the new guys blew the pipe on blackbear and another spot since they don’t know what they are doing. Among other mishaps.

Closed things skiing well. Lower lifeline, dancing bear into the steep thing above snow bowl. Very nice. Skiers right of standard looks like it will ski great too. Stratton still very conservative about dropping rope

Edit - standard poach prob run of season so far. The New Year’s Eve dump sitting untouched the whole way down.

I’m digging in for the winter starting this rainy weekend, don’t want to come home unless absolutely necessary. Matt Jones is speaking at our hoa meeting, so maybe he addresses the snowmaking issues. It looks like they’ve got things going pretty good.

Operations Update: Snowmaking has been extra active over the past 48 hours, concentrating efforts on Stevek, World Cup, Churchill Downs, Lower Middlebrook, Upper Down Easter, Black Bear, Janeway Junction, Upper and Lower West Meadow, Lower Kidderbrook, Daniel Webster, Big Ben, Upper and Lower East Meadow, and Lower Wanderer. Forecasted warmer temperatures and the chance of rain will temporarily put guns on hold mid-week through this coming weekend. Once cold temperatures return, snowmaking will resume with the next round targeting Upper and Lower East Meadow, Bear Down, Upper Kidderbrook, Free Fall, Upper Standard, Rime Line, Supertrail and Big Ben. A brief warm-up is nothing new for our Operations Team, who will continue working around the clock to deliver the best possible conditions. Be sure to stay tuned to the Mountain Report for more snowmaking and operational updates to come.

Where/what is SteveK?

Also when did they give up making snow on Liftline?
Stevek is a short piece of trail, basically the connection from Drifter to World Cup. Can't remember snowmaking on Liftline since the Snowbowl Express went in.
