Late start yesterday due to surprise 7" snow to shovel at 5 am. Figured I would get there too late so audibled and went to B East. Did I miss a great day?

Yep, Monday was a great day, not super crowded and cleared out by noon. Skipped yesterday, hitting it with our guests today.

You could see huge whales on bear down Monday.

We’ve had some lovely young ladies with us this week, one skis fairly regularly and one made her debut Monday with a lesson and did another day yesterday.

Here she is Monday on the magic carpet area

Yesterday we took her on the Amex over to tamarack and went down marks run which is a little narrow but pretty smooth and lots of instructors take students there.

She got lucky here, I pulled her out, she dusted off and did another run.

those are 2 opposite scenes meshing there... Also, Karina Rykman is an oddity with those other bands

its actuallly not so weird to join the two. the biscuits and tribe have had their own electronic music focused events and been a part of jam/edm festivals for a long time

karina is a weird choice for sure.

the djs are actually not bad, and teksupport is a very legit nyc promoter. camelphat, adam ten, and dennis ferrer are pretty big bookings.

there's no chance i pay for this tho. im actually mostly annoyed that it will make stratton more annoying that weekend. the biscuits fired their drummer of over 20 years recently in a really sloppy cruel way, and then brought in some hired gun, and i am largely checked out.

I meant the "Stratton Scene" and the "Bisco" Scene meshing. Feels like one of those apology letters will be going out like was posted here several pages ago. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

We're sorry that the bands we hired brought in a bunch of strung out ravers. Its not what we promote here at Stratton Mountain

Yesterday was pretty good, today was really terrific.

Sun was out pretty much all day, no wind. Everything ungroomed, groomed, in the woods was super duper.

Just. Exactly. Perfect.

This is for 2 day tickets. It was $210 a ticket on Monday and its $250 now. Will be $275 after this Friday I believe.

Stratton has already held a EDM winter festival before that jumped mountains in the northeast. Same weekends approximately.

Headed to Stratton on Wednesday. Last year we parked at Sun Bowl lodge on a Saturday and it was easy in and out. We were thinking of going to the "village" this time to start out. Is there a lodge where you can leave bags similar to Sun Bowl? Will the parking garage be easy to park in on Wednesday?

thanks for the info!

you'll be fine on a weekday using the garage but id seriously avoid that plan on any weekend

there used to be a long hall way of cubbies and hooks in the stratton main base lodge but i think they replaced it with a bag check for a few bucks

EWSRA Demo Days are this week on Tuesday and Wednesday so parking garage will likely be full unless you arrive first thing. There is a base lodge and free bag check for storage similar to the Sun Bowl.

thanks for the intel on lodge and demo days.

Those are demo days for the shops right, not the public?

Does that mean it'll be crazy busy?

Typically a few hundred shop folks on the hill for events like that. Given its midweek and what Stratton's lift capacity out of the main base area is, really not an issue at all, and about the only way you'll notice something is going on is they'll be a bunch of the manufacturers vehicles on the snow by the base area with their various logo tents and signs
