Jace- curious to hear your thoughts on how Indy Pass has been working for Cannon. With their change in pricing for next season (I.e the plus pass only $50 more then the regular) they’ll presumably sell many more blackout-free passes. Cannon and others have blacked out most peak days to make it work….does this change the calculus at all?
Likely inappropriate for me to go into detail here. There are a few knowns any skier looking closely would observe:
- Indy is an important line of business; it's one of several.
- With intention, we kept our blackout policy in place this year.
- Generally, there are always opportunities for process improvement when it comes to sophisticated tech applications like reservations, redemptions, systems integration, access control, etc.
- Cannon is popular amongst Indy passholders -- and that's a great thing.
