A pic is worth 1000 words, found a vid of someone skiing RPC on YT (except there was way more snow the other day). Go to 2:10. At the 2:22 mark I think is about where I was when the snow broke under me & I went all the way down that chute. Amazed I suffered no injury other than bruising, could have been really, really bad.

The video is deceiving, it's actually a pretty steep area with no way to arrest, especially if you're being carried by a river of snow. Anyway, somewhere to skier's right of that giant dead tree & in that chute is my Rossignol Soul Sender! Anyway, yes I'd appreciate it if you crane your head to the left if you ever go by there on the lower "road" that filters to Endzone.

4 Mar 2026 Snowbird, beautiful sunny day with surprisingly good snow in certain places on the mtn..

Certainly was a beauty of a day. Hit Alta in the morning then moved over to the Bird. Storm is approaching as I head to bed.
