...do a wonderful job of keeping out of bounds stuff clear and fun. Tons and tons of snow as well. An amazing weekend. No point in skiing on trails as they were mobbed and ranged from boilerplate to powder and everything in between. The usual spots like Kuipers got raked out quickly. Great bumps under the Rocket...which shut down a few times. Unmarked and off the sides were the places to be.

I can't believe how filled in that West Ledge area looks. Psyched to check it out tomorrow even if I'm late to the fresh snow party.

Excellent bumps also on UFO/Equinox as well as Magnitude (aka Upper Park). I thought Kuiper skied very well. IMO, only the West Ledges got really bony. Peace Pipe never really got skied in. Lift line maxed at 4 min., singles line at 2. The Rocket shutdowns were routine and the longest (I was told) lasted 5 minutes. Annoying, yes. Disasterous, certainly not.

We were on it twice when it stopped. One time was close to ten minutes at around 3:30, it was when the wind picked up in the afternoon. Darkstar held snow real well despite the traffic. The ledge to the furthest right had a rock to get over but had the best snow by far. The one everyone heads to on the left were in rough shape by the time we left. There were gaggles of young kids sliding through them and bare rock with 3' of snow at the bottom of them. There are 5 actual cleared areas that lead down from the top.
