Like trees...3200 hundred acres of them here..Think Jay peak times 8 with 6000 vertical. Its a bitch to get here. I started at 2 am..airport at 330 for 630 flight to Toronto then off to kelowna..then 2. 5 hour bus..and your there.
We got lucky with at leazt 6 inches over night..some areas almost knee deep in the tight trees. 5 more days to go with 1 at KH.Have to resize the pics

Thanks for sharing photos and any insight on Revy. Hope to ski there for first time in about two weeks.

Are you renting skis while you're out there? I was wondering how wide of a ski works best for those conditions. I'm thinking of trying Revelstoke next season and probably my primary skis aren't wide enough for deep powder unless it's fairly heavy snow.

I never rent. I have 105 x186 skis which are perfect for this. I left the powder skis home as they would not be good in the trees. They have some tight runs here..the whole place is a tree ski mecca..which is what i needed to get better in them. They do have bowls and chutes though.

Good stuff KS! Concur about skis, something in the 95-105mm underfoot is a good daily driver out west. I use 107mm for that, but have borrowed 116 for pow days. On a pow day at Snowbird 116mm will be one of the more narrow skis in the tram:)

That looks awesome! Puts a smile on my face. Keep the stoke coming. :)

In their master plan for future lifts it looks like they are planning to add a lift for the north bowl at some point.

Going to KH today. Will post some pics of yesterday when I get back. The 2 day tour beat us up pretty well. Running around with a 27 year old guide is ..sporty. The backside of Rev is very different from the tree runs. Its like the backside of Alta. Lot of chutes..lot of snow. We almost had to hike out as we had minutes to make the chair. And it dumped all day. Hoping when I get back things have improved a little.I know Stowe is blowing a little.

After that last set of photos I'm adding this to the "list". Looks like a lot of trees and steep spots without just insane exposure everywhere.
