last time at Smuggs was a few years back, would definitely return again

I know a couple of guys that ski in work jeans, they are anything but tools ... again, could care less what someone wears, as long as they're out there giving it a go and having fun

the boots keep them from being a tripping issue, although I do get a slight chuckle from the wet arses on the boarders ... common sense is apparently not so common

you guys got to be kidding right? I never knew there was a proper dress code for making turns, I give credit to anyone who makes the effort to get out there and could care less about what they are or are not wearing :roll:

Glen and Kimberly were on the mountain a lot from Sunday to Wednesday, they were very approachable when they were not conducting business ... got to chat with him a couple of times and get some pics ... a class act and brought along a very cool vibe indeed

just so glad that I'm not as jaded as others ... no matter the size of the mountain nor the conditions, I'd still rather be on the snow than not, wherever that may be

the thing about first-hand reports is they are so biased ... just about every day I hear folks skiing the same terrain and having opposite opinions ... there are really only a couple of people whose opinions I trust, what is good for me is not necessarily good for someone else

skied there once on a Monday while traveling to Philly, it was a week before they closed and I had a free ticket ... it was empty and I thought it was cool for a local hill, especially if you like rails and such ... spent a handful of hours there before moving on down the road ... as I said, any...

never, ever, in all of my life, have I skied somewhere and said to myself that I would never ski there again ... sure some places are better than others for whatever the reasons, but an opportunity for a true skier/rider to make turns is one they just don't pass on :daffy:

'Ski Report' - allows you to enter/save your favorite areas, gives you daily powder reports and local hills ... a tap on any resort will show you current conditions, weather, stats, maps, cams etc. 'Phresheez' is cool for tracking runs/speed/etc., but is a battery drain on my Droid

who goes to a ski resort and intentionally leaves their gear at home? someone who's more interested in partying I guess, but some of us can do both yesterday was consecutive day #75, you can do the happy hour math ... yes, Hunter is definitely not for everyone, but it certainly works for me and...

this past Sunday afternoon there was no line at all after noon, everyone split for the game ... pretty much skied right onto the lift lap after lap, whereas I don't usually utilize the 6 pack much on weekends

figured out that it cost me $6.45 a day to ski locally this season ... since Hunter raised it's rate, it'll cost me a little more next season but I got the pass anyway :spin:

only made it to four mountains this season, 121 outings to date and no injuries makes it a 10 in my book ;-)

the quad became very unreliable over the prior two seasons, take it from one of those who've used it on a daily basis ... having another way out is very important to the consumer and walking out is an inexcusable option in my opinion - yes it was a one-time occurrence, but one that will not...

I had heard it was the pin as well ... there were a few chairs on that line that were 'creaky' when ridden, I would grope around trying to silence them along the ride up ... something I've encountered on several older lifts in Any Skitown, USA ...
