Only had time for a morning (9-12:30) out there but what a day.
They were reporting 8″ on the sign at the base, but that was probably conservative, and we picked up another 2″ at least within the time I was there. Very light snow for the east but not quite the sort that has you leaving a cloud in your wake.
100% open, couple trails groomed, pretty much everything skiing beautifully. The very bottom of Lift Line + Kelton’s were quickly scraped down within the first hour, but otherwise everything I saw was still holding up very well.
Spent the first 2/3rds of my time at Holt’s, finished up with a couple runs off Winslow.
My favorite runs of the morning. Upper Lift Line -> last cutover to John Meck on Holt’s and Thomas -> Cum Laude on Winslow.
Notably busy (for their standards), with much of the parking filled and even a minute or two wait at Holt’s briefly around 10AM before people started to tire/slow down.
Lots of parents/kids out there with the local school districts all closed (and many having called it the night before), and college kids skipping class from the people I spoke to on the lifts. Seemed to be another wave of arrivals as I was departing.
Decent number of day ticket purchasers too. Their weekday rate is a pretty great deal for 2026 - $40 for an adult ($35 if bought online).
Roads were snow-covered but in fine shape…..although by the time of my return trip someone had managed to stuff a Land Rover into a snowbank just out of the town center of Lyme. (No obvious damage or injuries).
