I just checked the sugarbush snowreport (thursday at 2:29 PM and they were reporting 12 inches in the last 24 hours. This morning they were only reporting a few. I am wondering if this is an error, I am out of town now, but if they have acutaly goten this much snow this is awsome!!!!! It must have really started dumping for a while. I am heading back up next monday, and I hope they didn't just stick a yardstick in the nearest windblown snowdrift, and that this is actualy the case.

Here is the report.....

CONDITIONS: We’ve picked-up fourteen inches of new snow in the last 48 hours and to complement the little bone Mother Nature tossed us, our snowmaking team was back at it again last night firing the guns and repairing the mischief the winds of the past few days have wrought. We do expect the breeze to stick around for some of the morning so be sure to check the lift-status page before you head up to the hill. 42 trails were groomed last night.

It is hard to believe, but then again its Vermont, and anything can happen as far as snow. I am hoping for at least another 6+ over the weekend. Since lake Champlain is so warm, mabey another foot!. Now we need to get this R@!& and mixed percip out of the forcast next week, and get some more snow in the picture.

Cheers to a nice dump!!!!!! Maybe there is even a slight chance that MRG might even reopen tomorow, they are making the decision tomorow morning.

I am really looking forward to hitting the slopes at sugarbush next tuesday!!!!! If the weather keeps up over the weekend I will be jumping up and down!!!!!

Be sure to post a detailed report after you go. I was getting ready to release the springs in my bidnings and spread some wax on the edges for storage, and here's a ray of hope.

Thats a pretty good deal, even if you prefer your home mountain, it never hurts to play arround on some different terrian.
