It can't be long now
FIS WC GS begins on October 22-23 in Soleden Austria.
Universal Sports is by far the best place to watch them either live or replay. For $30/season you do without the announcer blather and listen to the skis scrape and turn, the crowds and beautiful scenery all without that @%$% advertisement interruptions. I have no vested interest. It's just really cool to watch.
