Sounds like the same trail count as Monday when I went. The forecast was partly cloudy but what we got was very misty and wet, just short of rain. We were drenched all day but the skiing was very good.

I can't believe they have a Cho-Sun at South Ridge now. Also excited to try the new Burrito Bar.

For all this talk about great snow making at Sunday River they seem to have fallen behind the pack. Even Okemo, Stratton & Stowe which opened weeks after SR have a higher trail count & miles of skiing right now.

Yup, Sunday River snowmaking sucks. People should go to Killington instead. They would've found a massive 7 acres more skiable terrain at K today than at Sunday River.

I have 12 days in at the River so far. They are way ahead of any recent memory for me. The park takes a ton of snow. Over 2 full weeks of snow making on that. It won't be a few rails on a trail. Its kind of fun to watch. They are making snow on Obeseesion and Kansas at the same time. That is at least 4 miles apart from Eachother.

Really curious to see if we get more than the Cirius Aludra loop this weekend in Aurora. I would think that Lola palooza would be next to get lit up and that would be skiing across all peaks.

From what I can see it looks like all condo owners will be able to be ski out by the weekend except the Hotel and Jordan. If you ski the River you could not be happier.

Quite a bit of beginner terrain open so mixed abiliites are gettting spread apart. They could open more now, but will wait for the weekend which make sense. I have not heard any negative statements from folks who have been out there. The Park Skiers and Riders have had a full trail for a month now. When they get T72 open it will be interesting to hear comments. I don't believe anyone is anywhere near where they are in park development yet.

Looks like with Kansas, Cyclone, and State fair on the snow making list, you could consider the Jordan lift could run. Hope they just have not mentioned lower Lola and are making that too.

Bob, They have not started making Ridge run yet, so not all condos are ski in and out yet!

Uphillklimber - You work for the mountain? Some get Tuesday Thursday off, like my daughter who is working there this year.

Dick C,

I forgot about South Ridge. I think of them more as town homes. With Dream maker open, adding Ridge run is possible. If we get some snow Sunday and Monday it may be sooner than later. Does not take much to open that run.
