27th Annual Empire State Games!

I just got back from a XC ski trip to Lake Placid; my first time and man was it awesome!

Anyway, there is an upcoming event, the 27th Annual Hugh L. Carey Empire State Games in Lake Placid. The evnt is featuring all sorts of winter sports including ski jumping and freestyle. It sounds like fun and thought you should know.

Been there twice while the empire state games are going on. Rather fun actually...not sure if this is a spamtastic ad thread...but whatever- always neat to see some real racing at whiteface.

ive done the summer games a bunch for swimming... and lake placid is an awesome place. if anyone goes have fun

Placid is tuff to top winter or summer .

Awesome scenery , good variety of venues, a fun town and of course the largest vert in the East !
