If I had an ownership stake, I'd hope they'd be looking at the following hours on the forecast - rain. Tough to get much out of a few hours of snowmaking - it'd be gone by the weekend, and the publicity photo ops no good in the rain.

They might blow apile to get the mice out though. I have a feeling that we may see a headline out of this.

Or a possible jib session up high!!!!

Bretton woods a few years back was on the channel 9 news for making snow the last day or two in September. That was back when they were in the race to open first and not just doing a test.

Unfortunately with a change of ownership/management, things have changed at Bretton Woods and they have pretty much fallen off the radar screen it seems. It's too bad because they were reaching out to the diehards and coming on here to bring folks to the mountain.

BW 1 would pop in here and post upon occasion. Represented the resort well. I skied there early and late Season every year. No wind there. Nice people nice place. They made snow there late one April to stay open. Terry, Thaller1 and myself went. Great spring day. We were amazed to see the effort to stay open.
