If I was a billionaire - I'd be taking million dollar vacations constantly...
But I'm not... So I do what i can.. I still try to go as big as possible... :)

They travelled by private jet before being greeted by a piper at their luxury accommodation

I would insist on being greeted by the entire orchestra for that kind of money.

Honestly, that room in the picture looks pretty bad to me for a ski trip. Hard floor is not at all cozy, and the only furniture is weird chaise lounges way apart from each other seems anti-social.

I'm assuming there's more than one room...

You can check out the rest of the rooms here. As it only sleeps 14, it looks like the orchestra will have to settle for the garage.

Part of this is the cost of living in Switzerland. Its sky high, so it inflates the total. This is probably a 5-700k vacation here in the states, and in my days as a hotel accountant, that number is approached pretty often at the high end places in Jackson, Aspen, etc during the holidays. Our most expensive room (slept only 2 people!) was almost 30k per night.

The picture is actually of the pool room. What looks like a hard tile floor is actually the bottom of the pool....
