Middle of March and warming temps.....it can only mean that prime Tuckermans skiing/riding it RIGHT around the corner. I headed up there this weekend and got in a little action on Lobster Claw and the Little Headwall, and the snowpack is looking pretty good in there....so who else is wicked pumped for this years tucks season??

I just moved here, dont know the place...dont really know much about it (like equipment you would need...stuff like that)

I might do it with a friend of mine who is moving from CO to NH (what a fool!) in april

if you go there solo you can usually hook up with expierienced folks for advice. ask lot's of questions, and don't ski in the bowl when nobody is there. other than that you really don't need a companion, they're not gonna ski it for you.

I'll be there this year. I've been there twice this year but didn't do the headwall, just skied down the Sherburne. This weekend I hope to make it up to gulf of slides or maybe ski central gully - depends on what my partner wants to do, I can't kill her :)
