Seems like a midsection would be a lot less work at this point. Can it really be much more expensive? I get the idea if you're starting from scratch, but since 95% of the work is done....

Angle stations are pretty big contraptions.. and it just may not be possible to stick one there.
I imagine its a lot of engineering and if possible it was already looked at.

They were going to go this route initially. The cost of the unit was the problem.
