AMC Launches White Mountain Guide Online

Greg thanks for posting, finally looking at my in-box at home & found my inivitaion to subscribe.
Will I? No.
Why? I like using the book & maps & have a fair amount of white mountain experience so I don't see the need to spend another $12. the 25th guide fits in front of the stick shift in my car, I can bring the book & map on the beach & not worry about sand getting in it.
Interesting that they say it will have up to date trail info, where is that going to come from? Their site's trails sections? I'd say they are 4th right now for online trail condition updates behind VFTT, ROT & AlpineZone. Are they going to have a link to VFTT?
If you are very tech savvy (feel free to read gear weenie) & relatively new to the Whites, it might make sense. I'll be sticking to the guidebooks & the old fashoioned paper maps.
