Itching to talk some hockey since Time Warner took MSG away from me.

Life long Bruins fan, as I'm rooted from south of Boston. Also Rangers fan since 1994. I know, I'm a living oxy moron.

Bruins won last year, now it's the Blueshirts turn. Pretty exciting season so far.

Don't think you're allowed to come back home if you route for ANY NY sports team. ;)

Bruins fan. Looking forward to tomorrows matinee.

They're understanding, they know I love the sport for the sport and not for the areas. And Brian Boyle is also from Hingham, so they cut me some slack. Great game yesterday, probably one of the best I've seen all season. Gotta love those top 2 spot match ups.

I feel your pain, except I'm a Rangers fan living in New England still <<gasp>>. I was a goalie growing up and Richter was my idol. The guy had guts and always a pretty classy player.

I thought the game yesterday was a real step forward for the Rangers, but unfortunately analysts still seem to consider the Bruins the best team in the East. Apparently the Rangers need to hoist the cup before the start getting the credit they deserve....

They're so neck and neck. If they meet in the play offs it will be the best series in a long time. Just to see the goaltending match up alone would be quite the spectacle.

I grew up loving the Bruins, and was taught before I knew the game that Bobby Orr was the best player ever and there will never be anyone as good. I really started to like the Rangers in '94. When you're a little kid you want to follow the winning team. Mike Richter was always one of my favorite goalies.

Yeah, this is definitely the best team they've put together in a few years. Last season's collapse against the Caps was tough, but I suspect they're going to do much more damage in the playoffs this year. I'd love to see Lundqvist get a Vezina at some point in his career, but it's going to be tough to beat out Thomas with the numbers he's putting up. My hope is that Thomas might not get the Vezina only because he loses enough time to Rask.

Unbelievable two games for the B's this weekend... That was a lot of good hockey to watch.

It's too bad that it was marred by the Ference hit on McDonagh and Sestito's hit on Horton, as well as Hartnell being Hartnell (the blindside on Kelly, not the hat trick).

I love hockey, but these hits have to stop.

I think the league is getting out of hand as far of suspensions. I don't condone illegal checks at all. I do not think Ferrence's hit warranted a suspension. They could easily reduce concussions by cutting down the pads and or making the ice a little wider. Make players think twice before chugging down the ice for a huge hit. It's insane. I didn't see the Hartnell hit, but I can imagine him doing something like that. I wish he would get traded to Boston. The guy looks like he was born to play on the big bad Bruins. Oh well.

Rangers are insane this year. Haven't seen this much hype on the Rangers in a long time. I think if Lundqvist can produce in the play offs he could grab the Vezina.

Rangers are a very strong team, I'm looking forward to the second half...

A Bruins Rangers eastern conf. final would be amazing...

Just a point of interest: The Vezina is based on the regular season only. Voting is done before the playoffs start.

IMO, last of the four major sports where the concept of team is still important.

Chara's first pick tells me something of himself and Datsyuk.

That would be great. Nothing yet in Albany. Old MSG channels are still showing NHL network.
