With the exception of Sun Valley not many folks ski in Idaho, so I can see what it gets good reviews if the snow is good. I have some places in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming that I want to get to. Some on and off the radar.

I was there about 7 years ago or so. Loved it!!! It's not huge by Western standards, but they did expand a little bit since I was there. I remember there were some nice steeps and glades on the skiers right and some other nice galdes off the triple. If you're anti-crowd you'll no doubt enjoy yourself. It's defintely my type of place. At some point I realized some folks actually like a bit of crowd, I'm not one of them. Of course holidays might be a bit more crowded, but I'd be shocked if there were any lines to speak of.

Nice tip! That's the most detail I've yet to see from anyone, anywhere. Thanks lots!

Glad to help. If you have time you should consider checking out Bogus and Tamarack. Bogus was my favorite of the 3, followed by Brundage. Tamarack was nice, but to me it felt like it skied smaller than it's vert. I'd say the opposite for Brundage and Bogus. Don't get me wrong, I'd go back to Tamarack in a minute, but probably only for a day or two. Bogus is very expansive, might be best local ski hill for a good size city. It's a doozy of drive up there though. Too bad they don't have a tram like the one in Albuquerque.

Brundage is awesome. Spent two weeks there last winter. Good vibes and good powder.
