Apt. or room in Queens, NY for 2 days a week needed for Phd student and teacher

My cousin is looking for a place, he will be teaching at Queens College so while there he looking for a place, working in the city a few days a week but will only need a place when he is in Queens. He is like a brother to me, he has served in the military and now decided to use his PHD in political history which he is currently doing. Just curious if anyone here migth have a place or know someone who does.
