Police probe death in Meredith, NH

MEREDITH, N.H. — Police in Meredith are investigating the death of a man who was involved in an incident involving several people. Details remain sketchy.

Police were called early Sunday to a home at 16 Lake Street. After searching the home, officers discovered a deceased adult male, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of his family. An autopsy will be performed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Police say several other people are believed to have been involved in the incident. Two of them have been identified as adult males who were also injured. One of them was treated and released from a local hospital and another man is in serious condition and remains hospitalized.

Police say an investigation is still in the early stages.

Not as much "local" people flappin' their jaws about this as they were about the Blizzard girl or Littlefield. I guess boating homicides are more interesting.
