I probably should know this but does the terrian park always cost extra $$? I was surprised when I went on the last day of the season last year and the terrain park was off limits unless you shelled out extra $.

You buy a park pass for the season. Think it's like $10.

I belive its to defend from lawsuits by making those injured in the park liable under different circumstances or soemthing like that, but 10$ does seem like its a bit too much too me.

Considering no other mountain that I know of makes you pay extra on top of an (already expensive for what the mtn is) lift ticket for a park pass, and the park there isn't exactly the best thing ever (although not the worst either) IMO that is a lot.

And I totally agree that turnstyle was a horrible idea, it never worked with my pass in my pocket either. Then you have to dig it out, by that time theres a line behind you. Not to mention how many people don't realize you need the pass and clog up the gate even more. And the kids working in the park don't appreciate people interupting their saftey meetings apparently.

I will give them credit for putting the video and waiver for it online at least this year, it was a real PITA to unstrap, gloves off, watch a dumb video in the shack and sign the crap while on the mountain.

They can't do any expansion/glading due to the old growth forrest. They tried to do a big expansion in the 90's that got shut down. Now all they can do is try and improve what they already have.

In light of this my question would be,

Can you give an overview of your capital improvements plan(s) for the next few years? Any chance on working out new agreements for expanded terrain in the future, or is the old growth forest restrictions unmodifiable
