Is it me, or can none of the major national retailers properly sell and install any appliance? I am literally talking about plugging in the appliance and doing a basic water connection. My extended family have had way too many delivery and installation issues with Lowes and Home Depot. I thought I was going to get at least some service from our purchase through Costco, but it has been a complete shit show. Largely because the Costco-subcontractors had no idea what they were doing and were quick to come up with an excuse to leave. And Costco national has had no clue what is goong on and no solutions as to the issue.

I am about to cancel and go to another local retailer. Apparently this is the new norm......

Uh oh. It's looking like we may need a new refrigerator. Our primary stopped cooling yesterday. Fortunately, we have a second in the household. But may need to replace dying one. Your post is not encouraging!?! Only good thing is we might get a Black Friday deal somewhere if we decide to pull trigger this weekend??

Use RC Willey. The price of the same dishwasher was cheaper than Costco (!) but you pay for the install. They actually have qualified folks to do it. I went with Costco on previous experience and found out that they do the same thing as Lowe's and Home Depot--subcontract out to "whoever" can deliver. Had I known that then I would have gone with RC Willey. Unfortunately, they are closed on Sundays.
