The wife and I hit up Bigelow for 3+ hours of BC fun today. Conditions were amazing, 3-4" of heavy pow on top of hardpack/ice. That may not sound perfect, but you could go anywhere once. Sometimes the snow got pushed off a rock, but really you could ski just about everywhere. I did a few rock drops and had a great time. We climbed up over Catrocks, which may not mean much to most, but let me tell you, that's a significant climb. The fact that my wife did the climb was pretty impressive, especially on those long a$$ XCish skis. Coming back down it's singletrack heaven on a bike, a bit harrowing on skis. My wife crashed a few times, but nothing too serious.
Bluebird skies, warmish temps, and great snow, can't get much better than that!
We didn't take too many pics, but a nice sequence of me going down a rock face into a little hill, really nice and smooth.
The tracks:
One of those days where as soon as you get home, you were wishing you were back out there.
