Visiting a ski area in the Summertime is not the way to help out with curing the jonesing for skiing  but since the kayaking is so close to Belleayre, we decided to visit the ski center this afternoon.

The website for Belleayre says that they are clearing a new trail under the Tomahawk Quad, but While I did not hike up the mountain, I could not see any new clearing under the liftline.

The Yahoo triple was running as a sky ride, but the lift was moving really slooooowly, so we decided to skip it as we were tired after paddling for 4+ hours on the Esophus.

This is the first time that I have been in the Catskills in the summertime
