Ripsaw at Loon Lincoln, NH – Going from good to great just got easier, thanks to Loon Mountain’s groundbreaking new lineup of snowsports camps and clinics. Through partnerships with Oakley, the K2 Ski Alliance, and Salomon, participants will refine their skills through video analysis, demo next year’s Salomon skis months before the rest of the world, and learn terrain park secrets from pro skiers and snowboarders.

Women’s Performance Camp presented by the K2 Ski Alliance

Session Two: Feb. 26-27
Run by women, for women, this two-day weekend camp presented by the K2 Ski Alliance features more than 12 hours of women-to-women coaching, video analysis, yoga sessions, and targeted core conditioning for peak performance.

“Any female skier knows that skiing with other girls is great,” said Alyssa Clark, K2 Women’s Team manager. “You push yourself, you don’t have any people judging you, and you’re all there for the same reason: you’re learning stuff, you’re educating yourself, and you’re having fun while you’re doing it.”

With the help of expert female coaches and collaborative learning with fellow students, skiers will gain the knowledge and confidence to carve the steeps, hit the moguls, and break through boundaries. By working together, women will improve their skills and form lasting relationships with each other. This camp is designed for women who ski at an intermediate level or above.

To register, call 800-229-5666 ext. 5400.

High Cascade Winter Camp at Loon

Feb. 7-8
High Cascade Snowboard Camp is hitting the road and heading East! Famous for its summer snowboard camp at Mt. Hood in Oregon, HCSC will bring the coaching, activities, and fun vibe of its summer camp to Loon.

“We’re coming out to bring all of the fun, excitement, friendships, and coaching that you could find during a summer session at HCSC,” said Terrence Stilin-Rooney, HCSC Director. “Whether this is a camper’s first experience with High Cascade or they’re simply coming out to hold themselves over until next summer, we know they’re going to have a great time riding with us because we always have a great time riding with them!”

Campers will be linked up with High Cascade’s professional coaching staff in a private park on Little Sister. Coaches will guide riders through a specific path focusing on comfortable individual progression on-hill, and fill in the gaps with fun and exciting off-hill activities.

Insider’s Edge presented by Salomon

Feb. 21-22
This first-of-its-kind camp lets guys test next year’s Salomon skis long before their buddies. Participants will ski alongside Salomon reps and Loon Snowsports pros to kick the tires on new ski technology and techniques.

“This camp is going to give unique insight into how skis are made and how they are designed to perform for each individual,” said Bruce Deihl, a Salomon New England representative. “And what makes this camp great is that it’s not just trying new equipment. We’re going to talk about skiing culture and all of the cool things that go along with that.”

Off-hill, guys will relax, chow, and talk shop in a slopeside man cave. They’ll also go behind the scenes to learn the finer points of tuning and boot fitting under the watchful eyes of the Loon Mountain Sports tuning staff.

Women’s Droppin’ In Freestyle Camp presented by Oakley

Droppin In’ is a two-day on-snow camp for the intermediate skier or snowboarder looking to advance her freestyle skills to the next level, and have fun while doing it.

Run by women, for women, Droppin’ In is staffed by pro Oakley athletes who foster a learning environment where students won’t be intimidated by jumps, rails, pipes, or competition. With a private, custom terrain park built just for campers, skiers and riders will build their skills at their own pace and comfort level with help and encouragement from the Oakley team.

Off the hill, campers will take part in group stretching and yoga sessions – and design their own Oakley goggles. Lunch and après ski are included both days.

Ultra Learner’s Club

By booking and completing three Learn-to-Ski packages in advance through the Ultra Learner’s Club program, guests will become eligible to receive a free pair of HEAD skis and bindings, plus great savings on lift tickets all winter long.

To join the Ultra Learner’s Club, guests must register in advance for three Learn-to-Ski packages (each day includes all-day novice lift ticket, rental equipment and three-hour group lesson; days do not need to be consecutive). At the conclusion of the third lesson, guests will receive a free pair of HEAD Skis and bindings, plus a Learner’s Club Card good for an entire winter of savings on lift tickets and apparel, gear, and accessories at Loon Mountain Sports.

For just $339, the Ultra Learner’s Club delivers over $700 total value, including HEAD Skis and bindings.
